Peaberry
One of the rarest types of coffee, treasured by connoisseurs for its delicacy.
Peaberry is neither a pea nor a berry — it is a coffee bean that grows from a cherry which produced only a single seed instead of the usual two. The single seed receives all the nutrients from the cherry.
Peaberry lots are often described as having brighter acidity, higher sweetness and more complex, intense flavours than standard beans from the same crop. Bursa hand-sorts peaberry from selected lots for buyers who want this expression.
